I love it!! We’d add another 1st rd pick to bundle to move up into the top 10

I'd do it. WHEN he gets hurts, and since Thibs is adamant on keeping IQ a s a second unit fixture, the best OVERALL pure pg on the team in the team, Deuce Mcbride MAY get his well-deserved shot. I don't understand this generation of fans: clamoring for a G LEAGUER who averaged 11 points, 6 Rebs and 4 Assists, but our very own averaged 29.5 pts, 5 rebs and 9.5 asst is, "just G league numbers, calm down"... if Deuce was Italian, his family would have given Thibs a nice long one way ride, in a black van with no windows. Jk, "calm down"

Yes definitely. I'd still want the Knicks to draft a PG as Brogdon does have trouble staying healthy. But dumping Randle is a net positive even before getting back Brogdon, etc. And you are correct Tommy, there are many of us Knick fans who don't want to see Randle on the MSG floor ever again. His lack of effort, and his rude behavior to fans, just makes him persona non grata to many of us Knick fans.

Proposed deal not is not unfair but it's not really going to take us to the promised land either. Brogdon makes us older and creates a multi-year roadblock to IQ in starting lineup. I would much rather try to do something with Portland where we would be taking back Bledsoe / Winslow as expiring contracts and some kind of draft equity -- (ranging from best case #7 pick to #7/#11 pick swap, to Milwaukee 2025 pick). Then IQ and Obi could start this year with RJ as clear #1 option. If IQ doesn't work out in the starting lineup, the record should be pretty bad and we can try to draft a PG in the lottery next year. We would also have not long-term money other than RJ extension if that happens.
