Should the Knicks Trade For DeMar DeRozan? A Look at the Pros and Cons

It's the first week in December, and the Bulls are already six games below .500. The team just announced that Zach LaVine will be out for at least another three weeks due to right foot inflammation. The worst-kept secret in the NBA is that Chicago is preparing to tear down their roster and trade away their vets. The name we've heard most often associated with New York has been LaVine, but speculation centering on another Bull has popped up recently.
According to the Athletic's Sam Amick, DeMar DeRozan is "considered very likely" to be dealt. Interestingly, it looks like he has his eyes on NYC or South Beach. "When it comes to possible destinations, the Heat and Knicks are known to be preferable to DeRozan if he winds up getting moved," Amick reported last week.
Consequently, the question of whether or not the Knicks should make a move for DeRozan has sparked much debate among Knicks fans.
