New York Knicks Trade Targets - Part 2
The Knicks have just a 4.7% chance of making the playoffs and a 13.9% chance of landing a top-4 pick in the 2022 NBA draft. They should be sellers.
Last night, the Hawks knocked off the Suns, the NBA's best team. It was Atlanta's eighth win in their last nine contests. They are now 1.5 games ahead of the 12th-place Knicks in the East. The Celtics, who are currently 9th in the conference, are three games above .500 and 3.5 games ahead of New York.
As of this morning, according to Basketball-Reference's Playoff Probabilities Report, the Knicks have just a 4.7% chance of advancing to the postseason. Conversely, the Knicks have a 13.9% chance of landing a top-4 pick in the 2022 NBA draft.

Jordan Nwora, Milwaukee Bucks
Nwora, a second-round pick in the 2020 draft, has shown flashes of brilliance over his first two years in the league. Over a four-game stretch in mid-December, when the Bucks' roster was decimated by a Covid outbreak, Nwora logged 34.5 minutes a night and responded by averaging 18.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.0 made three-pointers (while shooting 44.4% from downtown). However, he's been a DNP-CD in three of the Bucks past seven games, and the 23-year-old likely won't be part of Milwaukee's shortened rotation once the playoffs arrive. The Bucks starting center, Brook Lopez, is sidelined indefinitely after going back surgery in December. With little depth behind Bobby Portis, who has been serving as the team's starting pivot, might Milwaukee be interested in Nerlens Noel?
P.J. Washington, Charlotte Hornets
Washington, who has taken a step back this season, is a "trade possibility," according to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer. With Miles Bridges enjoying a breakout campaign, the Hornets will be forced to ink him to a monster contract extension this offseason. Consequently, they may be willing to move on from Washington, who is also extension-eligible this summer, for the right return.
