🏀 October 22: at Boston
For the second year in a row, the 'Bockers open the season against the Celtics in a nationally televised game. This time New York will get a chance to ruin "Ring Night" in Boston, as the C's will unveil yet another championship banner that evening. The current Celtic squad has been downright dominant at home. Dating back to March of 2023, they are 28-2 inside the TD Garden against Eastern Conference opponents. The only two losses in this 16-month stretch have been to New York. (As an aside, the first Eastern Conference Game of the season will be Knicks vs. the Celts. Will the last Eastern Conference Game of the season - maybe Game 7 of the ECF - be NY vs. Boston as well??)

🏀 October 25: vs. Indiana 
The last time we saw the Knicks suit up was a supremely disappointing blowout defeat to the Pacers in Game 7 of their second-round matchup vs. the Pacers. New York's first opportunity to avenge that bitter defeat comes in the Knicks 24-25 home opener. This time, unlike in the postseason showdown, NY should be fully healthy. This contest will also feature the MSG debut of Mikal Bridges in a Knicks uniform and the first time Jalen Brunson is introduced to the Garden faithful as the Knicks captain. It will be loud.
