Well, that was... interesting.

As always, it's essential to start by recognizing that it's often foolish to read too much into any exhibition contest. That being said, the Knicks' first two preseason opponents were against the Wizards and the Hornets, and their final two preseason opponents will also be against the Wizards and the Hornets.
Thus, Sunday's matchup vs. Minnesota was the best test they'll receive before shipping up to Boston next week for Opening Night. And although New York didn't ace this most recent exam, they looked great in stretches and played well enough to secure the win.
Once again, despite their struggles from behind the arc, the Knicks' offense got plenty of easy buckets and forced defenders into incredibly difficult decisions.
