Final Score: Knicks 102 - Cavs 108
Record: 50-31

Let's start here: New York will be the No. 3 seed and take on the sixth-seeded Detroit Pistons in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

If you told Knicks fans before the start of the season that their favorite team would win 50+ games and secure home-court advantage in the playoffs, most would have been delighted.

However, the team's seeding and overall record don't accurately depict the state of this particular squad. The vibes in and around the Knicks at the moment are far from immaculate.

Yes, the 'Bockers notched 50 victories for the second consecutive campaign, but not one of those wins came against the league's elite. New York finishes the 2024-25 season 0-10 against Boston, Oklahoma City and Cleveland, with the most recent loss coming in painful fashion Friday night.
