One of the many storylines that have made this 2022-23 Knicks team so special has been the remarkable contributions they've received from each and every player in their rotation. 

Thus, it was apropos that on the night the Knicks clinched a playoff berth with a 118-109 victory over the Wizards, they'd have four different players score 20+ points in the same game, including Obi Toppin, who poured in a season-high 21.

As we have talked about repeatedly, because New York lacks an elite top-5 NBA talent, they lean on their depth and overall roster composition. 

"Every time someone goes out, it's a chance for someone else to get in and get the job done," Thibodeau said Sunday. "That gives your team a lot of confidence. It gives us quality depth and makes us a tough team."

In last night's victory over the Wizards, Jalen Brunson, Immanuel Quickley, Quentin Grimes, and Obi Toppin all reached the 20-point plateau. It was the first time New York accomplished this feat since December 1, 2018, in an overtime vs. Milwaukee (the night Mario Hezonja stepped over Giannis). The four Knicks with 20+ points in that contest were Emmanuel Mudiay, Tim Hardaway Jr., Kevin Knox, and Damyean Dotson.
