Knicks Fail To Sign IQ To An Extension

I was of the opinion that the Knicks should have done everything possible (within reason) to lock up IQ for the foreseeable future.

Knicks fans had been counting down the weeks/days/hours/minutes until Monday's 6:00 PM deadline. But by the time it arrived yesterday evening, the Knicks and Immanuel Quickley had not reached an agreement on a contract extension. Consequently, Quickley will be a restricted free agency next summer.
