Knicks Extinguish The Heat
In the five games the Knicks have played since Brunson injured his ankle, Bridges is averaging 23.4 points and 4.6 assists while shooting 63% from the floor, 47% from downtown and 95% from FT line.

Those of us who have worked in a cubicle at some point in our lives have probably heard this corny, hackneyed joke in the office: "No one needs a vacation more than the guy who just returned from a vacation."
We know the deal. You spend four days on a beach in the sun somewhere and then fly back and barely have time to unpack before heading back to work. That first day back is a doozy. You're dead tired, catching up on emails and unsuccessfully trying to get into the swing of things.
Well, the Knicks weren't on vacation, but they did spend 11 days out West on a grueling road trip and returned home late Saturday night / Sunday morning. In their first game back at the Garden on Monday, they looked like they were nursing a collective travel hangover.
New York stumbled out of the gate, allowing Miami to score the first 12 points of the game. The Heat led by 13 points (31-18) through 13 minutes.
That's when Karl-Anthony Towns decided he'd seen enough.
