It was a reckless and dangerous play. There is no other way to describe it.

Joel Embiid, with his incredible combination of size, strength and skill, is one of the most talented offensive players the game has ever seen. His extraordinary talents were on full display Thursday night as he poured in a playoff career-high of 50 points. He was virtually unstoppable in the second half when he shot a perfect 5-of-5 from three-point territory and knocked down 12 of his 13 free throws. 

The issue, however, is that he probably should have been ejected from the game in the first half. 

Embiid is an emotional player and was out of control at times in the early stages of Thursday's pivotal Game 3.
