Yes, the New York Knickerbockers have won eight straight games in the year of our lord 2022.
Earlier this week, I noted that despite the Knicks' remarkable recent success, they hadn't yet put it all together for a full 48 minutes. Well, we saw what essentially amounts to their "A Game" Tuesday night at MSG when they pounded the Warriors 132-94.
New York jumped out to an 8-0 lead and never looked back, with nearly every Knick that checked in contributing to the victory, as eight different Knicks scored at least eight points.
Immanuel Quickley entered the evening mired in a nasty slump (just 3-for-20 in his previous two games and below 29% from the floor in his last six) but broke out in a major way Tuesday night. He nailed his first five three-pointers and finished with a team-high 22 points (on just ten FG attempts), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes.
