After the Boston Massacre at the TD Garden Tuesday night, the past few days in KnicksLand have been filled with doom and gloom. As it turns out, the sky may not be falling after all.
The 'Bockers bounced back in a big way in their home opener on Friday. As if the home team needed more motivation, this was the Knicks' first time playing at MSG since Indiana ended their season in Game 7 six months ago.
New York's offense continued humming, but the big difference in this contest was on the defensive end of the floor. After giving up an NBA record-tying 29 three-pointers to the Celtics, New York limited the Pacers to just 3-of-30 shooting from behind the arc. It was just the second time this decade an NBA team has attempted 30+ treys and made fewer than four.
