With the Knicks resting Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby (and Mikal Bridges checking out six seconds into the games), there obviously isn’t too much to garner from Sunday’s victory over the Nets.
The most encouraging takeaway from this contest was, once again, the hot shooting from Landry Shamet. The Knicks' suddenly scorching shooting guard poured in a season-high 29 points and nailed seven three-pointers in 40 minutes of action. He was 9-of-17 from the floor and 7-of-13 from behind the arc.
