40 Burger From IQ Pushes Knicks Past Rockets
There have been several prominent storylines throughout the Knicks' remarkably entertaining 2022-23 season.
The two biggies:
Jalen Brunson's rise to legit stardom while solidifying himself as one of the better free-agent acquisitions in franchise history.
Julius Randle's bouncing back from an awful 2021-22 campaign, earning an All-Star berth and likely an All-NBA nomination.
Then you have Quentin Grimes showing he's a starting-caliber NBA two-guard... The arrival of Josh Hart, which vaulted the Knicks to another tier... The Isaiah Hartenstein signing paying huge dividends, etc.
However, it could be argued that the emergence of Immanuel Quickley is as, if not more, important for the overall success of these Knicks - both this season and moving forward.
Quickley has received less attention than Brunson or Randle, partly because IQ has yet to experience the highest of highs, as those two guys have. But, night in and night out, Quickley had been solid as a rock for these Knicks; a metronome by which the team finds its rhythm, timing and balance.
